At Walking With, we believe in building a community where asylum seekers and refugees feel safe, supported, and valued. Every week, our team provides vital services, from food and clothing support to English lessons, wellbeing activities, and one-to-one advice. None of this would be possible without the generosity of our donors and funders.
By becoming a Friend of Walking With, you can make a lasting difference. A small regular donation through Direct Debit helps us plan ahead, respond quickly to urgent needs, and offer consistent support to those rebuilding their lives in North Tyneside.
We are here to help
If you need support or just somewhere to feel part of a family, please contact us and arrange an informal visit, or just pop along to our centre anytime Monday to Friday between 10.00am to 1.00pm.
Our fantastic staff and volunteers are at hand each day and will support you on your visit.

This is your chance to help
We are lucky to have generous supporters who donate food, clothing and household goods.
Over the past year we have seen an increase in support needed and have struggled to meet the demand. As a result we need to purchase extra food and resources to meet the demand.
Food bags required to support our service users equate to ~£30,000 each year.
To continue with our support, we need donations to enable us to keep providing food and support.
